Celtuce is named after its characteristics that are somewhat like a cross between celery and lettuce. Leaves are eaten as lettuce and stems are used as a vegetable with a flavour similar to celery. Great for stir fries, salads, and as a steamed vegetable.

Watering: Don't overhead water.
Fertilising: Fertilise regularly.
Use: Harvest in 4 to 5 weeks. Stems can be eaten raw or cooked. younger leaves picked and used like normal lettuce.
Grow tips: Cultivate the soil before planting. Protect from snails. Use a fertiliser high in nitrogen.
