The ultimate, weed suppressing, ground cover. Ajugas feature luxuriant green leaves & masses of spring flowers over a dense mat of leaves that quickly colonize the ground.
The densely produced pagoda-like spikes of soft pink flowers cover the plants in mid spring.
Excellent for a shady , moist spot, or in full sun given adequate watering. Great as a border plant or massed as a weed suppressing ground cover that will tolerate limited foot traffic.
Easily grown in a wide range of soils. Its only demand is some summer watering. Trim back in late winter if needed.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed will keep it looking its best.
