Position: Prefers an open, sunny position.
Soil: Thrives in most soils, tolerates wet boggy soils.
Watering: Water well until established then as required.
Fertiliser: A light sprinkling of blood and bone after flowering will keep it healthy.
Flowering: Late spring through summer.
Grow tips: Good as a windbreak or when planted en-masse for a colourful hedge.
