A vigorous native shrub growing to around 3 metres. It produces thick cylindrical candy-pink flower spikes from late spring through to summer and sometimes in autumn.
Position: Prefers an open, sunny position.
Soil: Will grow in poor to average free draining soil. Wet or dry.
Watering: Water during dry periods.
Fertiliser: Apply native fertiliser in spring and autumn.
Flowering: Late spring through to summer and early autumn.
Grow tips: Drought and frost tolerant once established. Prune after flowering to encourage dense growth.
