A stunning, hardy bottlebrush variety with fine, dense foliage and produces masses of pink and red shoots in early spring, followed by creamy yellow bottlebrushes. One of the few Callistemon that will grow into a tree if not pruned.
Position: Prefers an open, sunny position.
Soil: Dry, well-drained, moist moderate drainage, boggy poorly drained.
Watering: Water during dry periods.
Fertiliser: Apply native fertiliser in spring and autumn.
Flowering: Spring, summer and autumn.
Grow tips: Prune after flowering, if required, to maintain compact growth. Root system can be invasive so keep away from buildings.
