Evergreen, rounded shrub with attractive spikes of dark purple blooms that are offset by the glossy, oval leaves. Flowers appear from late spring to late autumn.
Position: Full sun to partly shaded positions.
Soil: Grow in rich, moist, well-drained soil.
Watering: Water regularly during dry periods.
Fertiliser: Apply complete fertiliser in early spring.
Flowering: Spring to autumn.
Grow tips: Prune after flowering to maintain its shape. Mulch well but not too close to the trunk.
