Hydrangea are reliable shrubs producing a showy display every summer with clusters of beautifully coloured flowers.
Position: Prefers dappled shade or morning sun. Avoid planting where afternoon sun dominates.
Soil: Grow in moist, well-drained soil.
Watering: Keep moist during the warmer months.
Fertiliser: Apply slow release fertiliser in early spring and late summer.
Flowering: Summer - Blue, green, pink, purple, red and white.
Grow tips: Prune by one third after flowering to promote new growth. Low maintenance.
