Very popular evergreen shrub with a silver-grey foliage and masses of spikes of fragrant, deep purple flowers in summer. The most fragrant of all lavenders.
Position: Prefers a sunny position.
Soil: Grow in well-drained soil.
Watering: Hardy plants that will survive in hot, dry conditions. Thrive with little water.
Fertiliser: Apply slow release fertiliser in spring.
Flowering: Summer.
Grow tips: Trim after flowering to maintain shape. They do not like wet feet or humidity. Use to attract bees and beneficial insects to your garden.
