SPECIAL QUALITIES

White Italian Lavender is a small easy to grow lavender with masses of small white flowers.

FLOWERS

Creamy white flowers with frilly little wings appear throughout spring and autumn, and in late winter in sunnier regions.

POSITION & USES

An open, sunny position in a well drained soil is preferred. Italian Lavender can be used in many ways: as a hedge, in a group among shrubs and perennials such as Penstemon, Heuchera, Papaver, Geum or as a fragrant border alongside drives and paths.

CULTIVATION

Trim twice a year after flowers die off. Remove spent flowers to stop self seeding.

FERTILISING

Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed and an annual feed with lime will keep it looking its best.
