(Lavandula Angustifolia ‘Munstead’)
Lavender Munstead is a compact, lavender blue flowered form of English Lavender with strongly aromatic foliage and flowers that are good for picking, drying and stripping.
Lavender blue flowers in late spring and early summer.
An open, sunny position and well drained soil preferred. Munstead can be used in many ways: as a hedge, in a group among shrubs and perennials such as Penstemon, Salvia, Callistemon, Rosmarinus, or as feature plants at entrances or on the sides of paths.
Prune 30% after flowering to keep shape and maintain plant vigour.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed in spring and autumn will keep it looking its best.
Codes are a guide only and watering requirements will be affected by soil type, competition, mulching, wind and many other factors. Try to group plants with the same code in the one bed.
CAUTION: May be harmful if eaten.
