A spectacular fast-growing dense evergreen shrub with dark glossy green leaves with brilliant red new growth and clusters of dainty white flowers in spring.
Position: Does well in full sun or partly shaded positions.
Soil: Grow in moist, well-drained soils.
Watering: Once established will tolerate dry conditions.
Fertiliser: Use a general purpose organic fertiliser in spring.
Flowering: Flowers in summer are a creamy white but not significant.
Grow tips: Once established, use less fertiliser and less water to slow the growth rate.
