Part of the new Lake Series of dwarf Salvias bred for colour and compact growth. They have soft green, ovate leaves sitting below a covering of short flower stems in summer months. The flowers will attract birds, bees and beneficial insects.
Electric blue velvet flowers from late spring to autumn.
Grows best in sunny position in a wide range of soil types. Looks good at the back of a perennial garden or behind low growing shrubs.
Prune hard in mid spring - after the last frost.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed in spring and summer will keep it looking its best.
