(Santolina Chamaecyparissus)
A tight, dwarf hedging plant with stunning silver foliage.
Masses of bright yellow balls atop of short silver stems over summer.
Prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in normal soil. Ideal for herb and parterre gardens.
Santolina prefers an exposed sunny position in well drained limy soil. Responds well to regular pruning and can be maintained at heights from 20cm to 50cm. Cut off spent flower heads to encourage repeat flowers.
Regular applications of Seasol and Power Feed over spring and summer will keep it looking its best.
